Registration policy

- Participation in CCC is open to all Canadian businesses and related organizations, subject to the limitations set out below: Industry Canada reserves the right to exclude from CCC, businesses and related organizations that are identified as ineligible for support. In particular, no support is to be provided under Industry Canada programs to projects or activities that provide or are likely to provide sexually exploitative or sexually explicit entertainment, products or services. Industry Canada reserves the right to exclude businesses and related organizations that market products or services that are illegal or restrained by court order (e.g., court order regarding the right of a company to use a trademark). Industry Canada reserves the right to exclude businesses and related organizations that cannot be independently verified as a fully operational company operating in Canada Industry Canada reserves the right to exclude or to remove from CCC businesses and related organizations that may be or whose activities may be inconsistent with or in non-compliance with federal or provincial legislation, policies or programs. Industry Canada considers free registration on the CCC database to be a privilege provided to Canadian businesses and related organizations. Industry Canada manages the CCC, and the registered businesses and related organizations acknowledge and agree that Industry Canada reserves the right to modify, remove or add to the information contained in the CCC, or to remove a registration from the database at Industry Canada’s sole discretion and without notice. The accuracy, currency and reliability of the information contained in the CCC are the sole responsibility of the registered businesses and related organizations. The registered businesses and related organizations shall ensure the continued monitoring of the information contained in the CCC and ask that it be modified when necessary.

Terms of Use

Any and all information requested on this Canadian Company Capabilities (CCC) registration form is provided voluntarily by you and, with the exception of administrative information required to maintain the currency of the database, is or will be made public through the Internet. The information is being collected for the purpose of promoting the company to domestic and foreign entities. The information contained in the CCC database will be accessible in various forms to any individual searching the database. All information provided by you constitutes a government record and as such is subject to applicable laws and regulations, including the Access to Information Act, the Privacy Act and the National Archives Act. It is our general policy, subject to applicable laws, including the Access to Information Act, not to disclose your username, password and procurement business number to third parties. However, such information may be shared with CCC partners when required to allow you to access the services these partners provide. By submitting the CCC registration form, you acknowledge and agree to the disclosure of information held in the database system to various levels of governments in Canada (including federal government departments and agencies, Crown corporations and provincial or municipal governments) and to the release of such information in the public domain by means of the ic.gc.ca website. Registration on the CCC database alone does not replace or affect existing procedures for the procurement of government services. You still need to respond to bid solicitations and will be competing with other businesses based on established criteria. The Government of Canada, its representatives, suppliers and partners, as applicable, make no representations about the suitability of the information contained in the documents and related graphics published on this server for any purpose. All such documents and related graphics are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
